We process such information only where necessary and permitted by law to protect users, investigate misconduct, establish or defend legal claims, or comply with a legal obligation.
Guildite does not permanently suspend or ban a user solely because a report was submitted. Reports and relevant evidence are reviewed by authorised personnel. Automated tools may help prioritise suspicious activity or identify related records, but a significant enforcement decision will not be based solely on automated processing where applicable law gives the user a right to human review.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not share your personal information with advertisers.
When you buy or sell on Guildite, transaction data is generated. This includes the category of product sold, the price, the timing of the transaction, the delivery area, and the outcome. This data, in aggregate, forms Guildite’s market intelligence layer.
As stated in Guildite’s Terms of Service, aggregated and anonymised transaction data is owned by GuildIte Ltd and forms part of Guildite’s core intellectual property. This data is used to power the market analytics features that sellers use to price and position their products competitively.
Guildite does not sell your personal information. We share your personal information only in the following circumstances:
All service providers are contractually required to process your data only as instructed by Guildite and to maintain appropriate security standards.
We may disclose your information to law enforcement, regulatory authorities or courts where required by applicable law.
We will share your information with third parties in any other circumstances only with your explicit consent.
Guildite implements technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction or alteration.
Guildite uses cloud, communications, security and other service providers that may process information outside Ghana. We require processors to handle personal data only for authorised purposes under written arrangements and to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security safeguards. Where information relating to a person in another country is processed in Ghana, we will also account for applicable data-protection requirements of that person’s jurisdiction as required by law.
Where there are reasonable grounds to believe personal data has been accessed or acquired by an unauthorised person, Guildite will notify the Data Protection Commission and affected users as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to any lawful instruction to delay user notification. The notice will include available information reasonably needed to help affected users take protective measures.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password or delivery codes with anyone. Guildite will never ask for your password.
